Repair Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Repair Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring that the global ULD asset base of Unilode is maintained in serviceable condition at all times. Key responsibilities include the coordination and continuous improvement of repair flows in collaboration with other stakeholders. The role establishes and monitors KPIs, manages pick-up and return processes and sets global standards and targets to drive unserviceable to serviceable turn-around times of our assets.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate with MRO to arrange collection of unserviceable ULD for repair and delivery ULD.
  • Establish, monitor and follow up on KPIs with MRO, such as unserviceable volumes, ULD lying days, repair turnaround times, etc. at critical airports around the globe.
  • Identify and implement improvements at critical airports to improve repair turn-around times.
  • Ensure that accurate and up-to-date data records are maintained at all time in the MRO ERP and ULD Mgmt. systems (example: storage, repair, rebranding, net stock, etc.).
  • Follow up with MRO to comply with repair SLAs, ULD storage volumes, net stock, and plate/label/decals inventory updates, etc.
  • Coordinate the supply/replenishment of pallet nets, plates/labels/decals and lashing lines.
  • Manage messages received in the mailbox are dealt with in a timely manner and processed accordingly.
  • Monitor, investigate, and report on unserviceable ULDs awaiting repair and coordinate with MROs/SubCos to collect damaged equipment as well as timely return to service to the respective customer network.
  • Ensure that MRO/SubCos to have an accurate inventory data of ULDs Technical Standards Order (TSO) information in the system.
  • Coordinate the movement/repositioning of damaged ULDs to the nearest Repair Facility in accordance with Repair and Maintenance Standard Operating Procedures and ad-hoc demands together with the global Network Planning Teams.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Relevant BA’s degree in aviation technology management or business logistics and transport management and leadership experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years in physical asset management or logistics industry, preferably related to Air Cargo or cargo container leasing.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
  • Experience working in an international company with cross-cultural teams.
  • Experience working and driving results remotely.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to establish and maintain own KPIs/dashboards for monitoring purposes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in working independently and in achieving operational improvements
