Supporting our industry while handling our responsibilities with care
Unilode collaborates with industry leaders, authorities, customers and partners, and plays an important part in shaping the future of the ULD sector. Unilode is a board member at ULD CARE and a Strategic Partner to IATA, and participates in various initiatives, working groups and industry events to share its industry insight and experience with other players in the ULD sector.
For all stakeholders in the aviation industry, safety must be placed above everything else and ULD handling is one of the areas where cooperation is a pre-requisite to ensure that passengers, crew and airport personnel do not get hurt due to incorrect or unsafe handling of ULDs.
Unilode has adhered to the Code of Conduct of ULD CARE, which provides instructions on how to deliver safe and cost-effective ULD operations and handling and provides training to ground handlers when and where needed. Unilode applies a “Handle with Care” sticker on its containers to advise ground handlers that ULDs are considered part of the aircraft and incorrect handling may put the crew and passengers at risk.
Unilode collaborates with industry leaders in its Digital Transformation programme. For more information on Unilode’s partnerships with leading OEMs, hardware and software providers please click here.
