With over twenty years of experience in Human Resources and Operational Management. Hazel’s career has been marked by a significant 15-year tenure in the hospitality industry, during which she served in Senior Vice Presidential roles for various well-known hotel chains throughout the United Kingdom, Eastern Europe, the United States, and the Middle East. This extensive background has equipped her with a deep understanding of the complexities of managing human resources in diverse and dynamic environments.
In September 2023, Hazel joined Unilode, where she is responsible for the People division. This encompasses a wide range of functions, including Human Resources, Recruitment, People Development, and Talent Management. Her leadership in these areas is crucial for fostering a positive workplace culture and ensuring Unilode attracts and retains top talent.
Hazel's professional credentials are impressive; she is recognised as a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of People Development, Highlighting her commitment to excellence.
With his extensive background in the aviation industry, Janis joined Unilode as Chief Operating Officer in October 2023.
With over two decades of experience in senior leadership, operational, and commercial roles. With a track record of working closely with airports, airlines, ground handlers, and logistics companies, Janis brings valuable insights and understanding of our evolving landscape.
Janis's academic achievements, holds an MBA in Aviation from Danube University Krems, as well as completing executive management programmes at the London Business School and INSEAD.

As Chief Commercial Officer for Europe at dnata (Emirates Group), Mohammed demonstrated exceptional commercial acumen, which played a pivotal role in the company's growth and the enhancement of its brand.

Bas, an accomplished professional in the fields of IT and Digitalization, brings with him an impressive 25 years of industry experience. He kicked off his career at Deloitte & Touche Bakkenist as a Logistics Strategy Consultant, where he took on various roles within the industrial and fast moving consumer goods sectors.
Bas joined Philips in 2003, where he worked in various roles in IT. In his last role as VP Applications and Infrastructure he was responsible for all IT Services for Philips across all Business Units globally.
He then joined Philips in 2003, where he worked in various roles in IT. In his last role he became the Vice President of Applications and Infrastructure, responsible for overseeing IT services for Philips across all business units globally. Following this, he moved to T-Systems, a subsidiary of Deutsche Telekom, where he managed all IT delivery to Shell as VP Delivery for six years, and later taking charge of the Private Cloud portfolio for enterprise clients. In January 2023, Bas took on the role of Chief Information Officer at Unilode. He holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and Management Science, along with a PhD in IT and Logistics from Eindhoven University of Technology, where his research concentrated on Data Quality and Data Alignment in E-business. At Unilode, Bas is at the forefront of leading the team on an innovative journey, ensuring that the company remains a pioneer in digital aviation solutions.
With more than 18 years of experience in the logistics and aviation industries, Mark’s career has taken him across three continents, where he has held senior Finance roles in Australia, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom.
Mark joined Unilode in November 2022 following nearly a decade working in ground handling and air services for a global provider, where he served as Chief Financial Officer Australia, Global Vice President of Finance for Airports Operations and CFO for Europe. Prior to that Mark held various senior Finance roles in Australia with Toll Holdings, the Asian regions largest integrated logistics provider.
Mark holds a BSc in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, alongside being a member of CPA Australia, and completing an executive leadership program at Warwick Business School
Mark’s responsibility at Unilode includes Finance, Treasury, Legal/Secretariat and Procurement.
Steve brings a wealth of experience in Quality Assurance, Occupational Health & Safety, and Sustainability (Environment, Social, and Governance or ESG) practices, both on an international scale and within the UK. Since joining Unilode in November 2022, Steve has taken on the pivotal role of overseeing the QHS & Sustainability Strategy.
Steve’s background includes significant tenure in the aviation sector, where he served as Vice President for QHSE for major ground handling and logistics in Dubai. Additionally, Steve has held leadership positions in the Oil and Gas, third-party logistics, and cargo industries, focusing on QHSE initiatives. As a Technical member of the Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH) and holding a NEBOSH qualification, Steve is well-equipped to navigate the complexities of this field. Steve is a firm believer in the importance of effective communication and engagement as key drivers of success, and approaches his and his teams responsibilities with a genuine passion for making a positive impact to Unilode’s people, communities and customers.
